LLANGEFNI HIT 100 LEAGUE GOALS IN 5-0 WIN OVER GREENFIELD (26th April 2015)

Llangefni Town hit a 100 league goals on Saturday as they brushed Greenfield aside 5-0. Cefni started the game well pinning the away side back into their own half. Iwan was first to get onto the scoresheet as he converted a perfectly timed cross from Calvin Owen to make it 1-0. Just before the break Craig Evans got on the end of a Gari Owen cross to head the ball into the corner of the net (2-0). After the break it was more of the same as Cefni looked to increase their lead with both Iwan Jones and Sean Pritchard coming close. Iwan Jones scored his second on 67 minutes as his cross/shot found its way into the top corner, 3 minutes later and Iwan completed his hattrick as he turned with the ball on the edge of the are an unleashed an unstoppable strike which flew in over the head of Danny Stanton (picture above) (4-0). Sean Pritchard completed the scoring on 75 minutes with a low drive from outside the box to make it final score 5-0.
